FOREIGN MISSIONS

       At Spirit Life, we feel that it is important to be involved and support foreign missions.  In the past, the Lord has sent Pastor Walt around the world preaching and sharing the gospel.  He has traveled and taken the gospel to the Bahamas, Jamaica, Bulgaria, Haiti, and Mexico.  We recently helped to build a church in Merida, Mexico named “The Way, the Truth, and the Life”.  That church is growing and thriving today.  Thanks to all of our partners who gave to make it possible.

Currently, we are involved in installing in a solar powered water purification system at an orphanage in Haiti. We are looking forward to installing more of these in the future.

Our Missions Director, Evangelist Jeff Thornburg, designed the system and has been overseeing the project.  The orphanage, run by Dr. George Joseph, houses approximately 120 children.  We have been helping to provide them with food as well as completing the water project.  Once complete, they will not only have clean drinking water, but they will be able to bottle and sale the water to create funds for the orphanage.  We are very excited about this project.

Brother Jeff has designed a wonderful tool that could be a great blessing around the world, wherever clean drinking water is needed and electricity is a problem.

Below is a picture of the completed system. The Orphanage can now produce over 100 gallons of purified drinking water each day.
