Spirit Warriors
Spirit Warriors is our children’s church program for children ages 5-11. We use the Group’s Bible Blitz curriculum. Bible Blitz encourages the kids to open up the Bible, learn how to use it, and apply it to every aspect of life. It is fun, fresh, and creative. Each quarter focuses on an aspect of God and our relationship with him. Kids learn and strengthen Bible skills while discovering Bible Truth for themselves. Bible Blitz contains exciting audio skits and music videos as well as fun games and crafts. Worship and prayer are a response to what kids learn, rather than the opening. Bible Blitz uses the one Bible that will engage, entertain, and enlighten kids – the Hands-On Bible! In addition to having awesome weekly services, we try and keep the kids active in outreach. We teach them the importance of reaching out to others and sharing God’s love. We take the children to visit the nursing home about once a month. There, the children will sing songs, play games, and simply interact with the elderly. This is always a rewarding time for all involved. Another highlight of our children’s church program is our annual Christmas Play. The children begin working around September to put together a program that takes place the first Sunday of December. After all of the hard work and preparation the children perform beautifully and everyone in attendance is blessed. God is doing great things in our Children’s Church and we invite you to come and be a part!
